SAMANTHA ARVESEN - FAMILY MINISTRIES DIRECTOR
Samantha serves as a Family Ministries Director and Worship Director at Three Strands Church. She loves seeing kids, teens, and adults alike discover that God’s Word is alive, powerful, and meant for them right now—not just on Sundays. Her heart is to see God’s kingdom thrive and grow in McCreary County, and she believes that happens when we keep our eyes on Jesus, love people well, and aren’t afraid to laugh along the way (even at ourselves). Whether it’s through music, teaching, or simply sharing life together, her prayer is that everything the church does points back to the goodness of God, because He’s the one who makes the fruit grow.
Samantha graduated from Indiana University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education (English). She moved to Kentucky in 2022. She lives in Parkers Lake with her husband (Patrick) and three daughters (Caidence, Ellery and Phoebe). Samantha joined the staff at 3SC in 2025 and has brought tons of energy to team. She loves to try new things and lives all of life to the fullest! When she’s around, you will almost always hear her singing a song to the Lord.
