Video AUDITION

Thank you for your interest in serving as a musician and/or vocalist here at Three Strands Church!  The Three Strands Worship (3SW) team exists to skillfully lead corporate worship, helping to fulfill the mission statement of Three Strands Church: 

“Creating a culture of redemption where people are free to experience the truth and grace of Jesus Christ.” 

With this in mind, you will find instructions on how to submit your video audition below. If you're hesitant to put yourself out there with your music, we say go for it! Be confident and courageous! 

PREPARING YOUR AUDITION

To prepare your audition, choose one of the songs from our current catalog (listed below) and record yourself (just use your smartphone) playing or singing any three sections of your choice (i.e. Verse, Chorus, etc) of the listed songs below. If you play multiple instruments and want to audition for all of them please submit a video for each. Feel free to transpose the Key if needed but make sure that is noted in your audition video. Please make sure your video audition has the following:

  1. We need to hear you clearly; if you are playing or singing with a backing track please have it at the appropriate level.

  2. We need to see you; please have yourself in the center of the frame with nothing obstructing the view. Also, keep visual distractions to a minimum.

SUBMITTING YOUR VIDEO

Submitting your audition video couldn't be easier! If you use a smartphone, simply text or email it to the 3SC Worship Director. The Worship Director will contact you with the next steps and any other helpful information.
